Job summary

SCALIS is seeking an HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support, including policy guidance, onboarding, employee records management, and performance tracking. This role focuses on compliance, documentation, and effective employee relations, with the ability to handle disciplinary processes and investigations.

The position offers remote work with US hours coverage, requiring a diligent, discreet professional who can collaborate with the HR Manager and cross-functional teams to drive HR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Psychology, BA, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of progressive HR Generalist/HR Specialist experience.
• Strong understanding of local labor laws and employment standards with disciplinary processes experience (NTE drafting and pre-investigations).
• Familiarity with HRIS, data entry, and maintaining meticulous employee records.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide employees on policies, procedures, and compliance.
• Participate in guideline development and support onboarding across the employee lifecycle.
• Conduct pre-investigations to determine root causes of incidents and recommend resolutions.
• Draft Notices to Explain (NTE) and support disciplinary actions with HR Manager.
• Assist in resolving employee relations challenges and support departmental initiatives.
• Oversee onboarding for new hires and newly regularized staff across all resources.
• Maintain accurate, secure HR databases and employee records.
• Assist with HR verifications, COEs, and general inquiries.
• Support performance management processes and scorecard metrics.
• Prepare HR reports, documents, and department metrics as needed.
• Perform other HR projects to support organizational goals.
