SupportNinja is seeking a General Accounting Specialist II to manage fixed assets accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliations, while supporting high-volume transactions across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger.

You will lead month-end close activities, reconcile bank statements, prepare reports, and ensure strict adherence to US GAAP and internal controls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general accounting experience, including fixed assets.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Degree in Business or Accounting.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Word.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime.
• Nice-to-have NetSuite or Coupa experience in fixed assets.

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed assets accounting: capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliations.
• Process high-volume accounting transactions: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Lead complex account reconciliations during month-end close, including fixed asset accounts.
• Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting reports and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated accounting issues.
• Respond to customer emails and calls professionally.
• Ensure adherence to US GAAP and internal accounting controls.
