Job summary

Recruitify HR in the Philippines is seeking a Fixed Asset Accountant to maintain fixed asset records, calculate depreciation, reconcile with the general ledger, and support month-end close and audits. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 1–3 years of fixed asset experience are required.

Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is preferred. Monday–Friday work schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in Fixed Asset Management.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and fixed asset processes.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems; attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the fixed asset register.
• Record asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, retirements, and write-offs.
• Calculate and monitor monthly depreciation expenses.
• Ensure proper asset capitalization and classification.
• Perform reconciliations between the fixed asset register and the general ledger.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to fixed assets.
• Coordinate and participate in physical asset inventory and verification.
• Prepare reports and documentation for audits.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Warehouse, and other departments.
