Job summary

KickAss Products is seeking a Philippines-based Finance Officer to support day-to-day financial operations for our Australian business from home. You will handle accounts receivable and payable, reconciliations, and month-end reporting across multiple locations, coordinating with suppliers and customers during Australian business hours.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and at least 3 years in finance, with strong Excel skills and reconciliation ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• At least 3 years' experience in finance, accounts receivable or accounts payable
• Experience with cloud-based accounting systems and spreadsheets (Excel)
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
• Ability to explain financial information clearly with commentary beyond numbers
• Strong written and verbal English communication
• Comfortable working remotely and managing priorities

Responsibilities

• Reconcile cash sales against customer receipts
• Reconcile customer refunds and in-store credits
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts during month-end close
• Reconcile supplier statements and process weekly invoices
• Prepare Excel schedules for prepayments, liabilities and recurring accounts
• Prepare accounts receivable/payable ageing reports with comments on cash flow
• Review P&L and balance sheet movements and investigate discrepancies
• Provide financial information for supervisor review
• Maintain daily task progress in workflow system
• Communicate professionally with suppliers, customers and internal teams
