KickAss Products is seeking a Philippines-based Finance Officer to support day-to-day financial operations for our Australian business from home. You will handle accounts receivable and payable, reconciliations, and month-end reporting across multiple locations, coordinating with suppliers and customers during Australian business hours.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and at least 3 years in finance, with strong Excel skills and reconciliation ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• At least 3 years' experience in finance, accounts receivable or accounts payable
• Experience with cloud-based accounting systems and spreadsheets (Excel)
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
• Ability to explain financial information clearly with commentary beyond numbers
• Strong written and verbal English communication
• Comfortable working remotely and managing priorities

Responsabilités

• Reconcile supplier statements and process weekly invoices

KickAss Products is looking for an experienced, Philippines-based Finance Officer to support the day-to-day financial operations of our Australian business.

We're looking for someone who enjoys keeping accounts accurate, investigating discrepancies and understanding the story behind the numbers. You'll be confident managing your workload, communicating with suppliers and customers, and providing useful insights beyond routine data entry.

You’ll work from home on a day shift aligned with Australian business hours, with no weekend work.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll support accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations and month-end reporting across approximately four to seven business locations.

• Reconcile cash sales against customer receipts
• Reconcile customer refunds and in-store credits
• Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts during month-end close
• Reconcile supplier statements and process weekly invoices
• Prepare and maintain Excel schedules for prepayments, liabilities and other recurring balance sheet accounts
• Prepare accounts receivable and payable ageing reports, with clear commentary on outstanding balances and cash flow implications
• Review profit and loss and balance sheet activity, investigate unusual movements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare financial information for your supervisor’s final review
• Keep daily tasks and progress up to date in our workflow management system
• Communicate professionally with suppliers, customers and internal teams.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Are based in the Philippines and available to work Australian business hours
• Hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Have at least three years' experience in finance, accounts receivable, accounts payable or general accounting
• Are confident using cloud-based accounting systems and spreadsheets, particularly Excel
• Have strong reconciliation skills and a careful, accurate approach to your work
• Can resolve accounting discrepancies independently and recognise when to escape complex issues
• Can explain financial information clearly and provide commentary beyond the numbers
• Communicate clearly and professionally in written English
• Are organised, reliable and comfortable managing competing priorities while working remotely.

Experience in retail or wholesale distribution, along with familiarity with NetSuite and Shopify, will be highly regarded.

A professional accounting qualification, such as CPA, or progress towards one, and familiarity with Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) requirements would also be an advantage.
