Emapta is seeking an experienced Estimator/Quantity Estimator to support tendering and project delivery for plastering, rendering, and related finishes. You will read drawings, prepare take-offs, price scopes, and contribute to commercial risk management.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years estimating experience in plastering/rendering or related construction field.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Experience with quantity take-offs, cost build-ups, and commercial analysis.
• Understanding labour productivity, material usage, wastage, access, and sequencing.
• Strong numeracy and communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and digital estimating or CM systems.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, finish schedules, scope documents, and tender addenda.
• Prepare quantities for labour, materials, plant and subcontracted work.
• Price solid plastering, cement rendering, textures, and decorative finishes.
• Identify exclusions, qualifications, allowances and scope gaps.
• Apply labour costs, material costs, wastage, overheads and profit margins.
• Maintain estimating templates, pricing databases and productivity records.
• Monitor tender opportunities and prepare compliant quotations.
• Attend site inspections and tender briefings as required.
• Respond to queries and post-tender negotiations promptly.
• Maintain tender register with status, value, dates and outcomes.
• Ensure risk, claims and variations are priced and documented.
• Support handover packages, budgeting and procurement planning.
• Prepare pricing for variations with supporting docs.
• Maintain records and document management for estimating.
