Job summary

Offshore 247 Outsourcing OPC in the Philippines is seeking a Construction Estimator to prepare quantity takeoffs, cost estimates and tender submissions for plastering and carpentry projects using Cubit, collaborating with the Australian estimating team to deliver accurate on-time bids.

This full-time, remote role requires 3+ years of estimating experience, proficiency with Buildsoft/CostX/Bluebeam/Cubit, and strong English. Hours align with Australia 9am–5pm AEST.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' estimating experience, ideally with plastering and/or carpentry exposure.
• Proficient in estimating software (required); Buildsoft, CostX, Bluebeam or Cubit a plus.
• Strong understanding of Australian residential/commercial building methods and material standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/construction drawings accurately.
• Solid written and spoken English for client-facing communication.
• Comfortable working Australian day-shift hours (9am–5pm AEST).
• High attention to detail and comfort working to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from drawings using Cubit.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for plastering and carpentry works.
• Apply current material and labor rates to build competitive quotes.
• Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing and availability.
• Prepare and submit tender/bid documentation within deadlines.
• Cross-check drawings for scope gaps and flag issues to the project team.
• Maintain and update pricing databases and rate libraries.
• Track estimate versions and respond to variations or scope changes.
• Communicate with the Australia-based team via Teams and email.
