The Estimator role involves preparing detailed construction cost estimates, reviewing drawings, and coordinating with subcontractors to submit competitive bids. Remote work is possible from the Philippines with a focus on growth and timely tender submissions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of estimating or related construction experience; commercial construction preferred.
• Understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
• Experience with public tender platforms (MERX, Biddingo, Ontario Tenders Portal) and tender packages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for a variety of construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to assess scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity take-offs and pricing of materials, labour, and equipment.
• Collect, organize, and compare subcontractor/vendor quotes for bids.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing and clarify scope.
• Support budgets and schedules with Project Management.
• Maintain estimating databases, historical cost data, and pricing records.
• Research public tender platforms and identify opportunities for bids.
• Handle administrative tasks related to bid preparation and deadlines.
