Job summary

Emapta is hiring an Estimator to support Australian construction, refurbishment, and facilities management projects from a remote/Philippines base. The role focuses on cost estimation, tender preparation, and commercial coordination with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Estimating Manager in facilities management, building, or construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, cost planning, and facilities management practices.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and scopes of work accurately.
• Familiarity with Australian building standards and practices is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation and tender preparation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction and facilities management projects.
• Review drawings, specs, and tender docs to determine project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections to assess conditions and costs.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations for competitive pricing.
• Develop budgets, cost plans, and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Support tender clarifications, negotiations, and project handovers.
• Maintain estimation records and pricing databases.
