Job summary

YOOT Group is seeking a Construction Estimator to support Australian projects from a remote Philippines setup. The role involves quantity take-offs, tender pricing, and managing quotes for subcontractors and suppliers during Australian business hours.

You will work with CostX, Cubit, Buildsoft, Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, Procore and EstimateOne, reading specs to price accurately. A reliable home office is required; coworking backup may be arranged where outages occur.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction estimating or quantity surveying.
• Experience with real-world estimating tools: CostX, Cubit, Buildsoft, Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift.
• Able to read specifications and price from them; ANZSMM/Rawlinsons/Cordell experience a plus.
• Clear written and spoken English for daily communication with Australian teams.
• Reliable home office setup; coworking backup may be arranged when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, civil and services drawings.
• Prepare bills of quantities, tender pricing and unit-rate build-ups.
• Request, compare and level subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Keep the rate library current.
