Job summary

Sophos is seeking a Sales Engineer to lead the technical relationship in a regional territory, working with end customers, focus partners, and channel partners to map technical solutions to business problems. You will be the aligned technical sales engineering representative ensuring customer and partner satisfaction and developing license opportunities.

Qualifications

Presales experience and strong technical knowledge in cybersecurity, endpoints, and networking (Firewall, ZTNA, Access Points, XDR/EDR, SIEM, SOAR, incident response).
Broad knowledge of IT technologies and security solutions in IT security domains.
Experience with Email Flow (Exchange/Domino), Cloud Solutions, AV, Anti-SPAM products.
SOC operations and IT process automation/orchestration, Managed Detection and Response.
Understanding of cyber threat landscape and ability to articulate business value and ROI.

Responsibilities

Gain technical closure of sales opportunities from customers and partners.
Deliver channel technical enablement to ensure Sophos solution competency within the channel.
Drive sales revenue to meet regional targets.
Act as the primary technical advisor for key accounts and partners.
Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, and POC engagements across Endpoint, XDR, Network, Cloud, and MDR.
