Job summary

D2b is seeking an Electrical Estimator/Quantity Surveyor for a remote role serving Australian/NZ projects. You will prepare cost estimates, take-offs, BOQs/BOMs, and quotations, manage RFQs, and support procurement and project coordination while ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to Australian standards.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in electrical estimating, strong Excel and EST tool experience, and a portfolio. This is a 100% remote opportunity based in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in electrical or construction estimating, quantity surveying, project engineering, or coordination.
• Experience on medium to large commercial, industrial, mining, or resources projects.
• Proven ability to prepare estimates, takeoffs, BOQs/BOMs, and quotes.
• Australian estimating experience and familiarity with AS/NZS 3000 and electrical codes.
• Experience with Australian or New Zealand companies, preferably for Australian projects.
• Portfolio is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical estimates, takeoffs, BOQs/BOMs using Groundplan and ECS.
• Manage RFQ, pricing, tendering, and quotes within deadlines.
• Coordinate procurement and purchase orders with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support project coordination, mobilization, and schedules.
• Assist with progress claims, variations, EOTs, and cost-to-complete tracking.
• Maintain project documentation and document control (drawings, RFIs, claims, variations).
• Support handover and close-out processes.
• Use systems including simPRO, Groundplan, Bluebeam Revu, Excel, Xero, ClickUp.
