Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced DevOps or systems engineer to join a four-person remote DevOps team. You will manage production infrastructure, automate systems with Ansible, and support pre-production environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Excellent Linux knowledge, Ansible, and Docker are essential, with a strong emphasis on observability and on-call reliability. The role is remote and based in the Philippines, with occasional travel to our Valencia City, Bukidnon office for hands-on

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Linux/Unix system administration (Ubuntu preferred).
• Scripting or programming experience (Shell or Python).
• Experience with deployment and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience with system automation tools (Ansible).
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Understanding of networks (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL) and MySQL basics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production infrastructure and expand automation/virtualization.
• Automate systems and manage configuration (Ansible).
• Build and maintain pre-production environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve logging, monitoring, and alerting across the platform.
