Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in Manila is seeking a hands-on technical leader to continue developing software while growing the Manila engineering team. You will work with an established European product team, mentor engineers, and drive AI-assisted software development using modern practices.

You will design, build, and maintain enterprise web apps on .NET Core and React, and guide cloud-native microservices on Azure.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in C#/.NET Core development.
2+ years in a Technical Lead or Senior Engineer role leading teams.
Strong experience with React and modern front-end development.
Experience building cloud-based microservices on Azure, AWS or GCP.
Solid knowledge of REST APIs, SQL databases, EF Core, Clean Architecture, and SOLID.
Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using .NET Core and React.
Build scalable cloud-native applications and microservices on Azure.
Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
Guide and mentor software engineers through code reviews and coaching.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Work with AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
Ensure high standards for code quality, performance, scalability, and security.
Support Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to feature delivery.
