Job summary

LawnStarter is seeking an Analytics Engineer who will own data governance across the entire data stack. You’ll ensure data quality, lineage, and security from source data to dashboards and ML models, working hands-on with SQL, pipelines, and BI tools.

This is a fully remote, individual contributor role within a small, senior analytics team. You’ll implement standards, automate checks, and scale processes as the company relies on trusted data for product, marketing, and operations.

Qualifications

• Strong governance and data quality mindset.
• Experience owning data contracts and lineage.
• Hands-on with SQL, pipelines, and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Own data governance across source data, pipelines, and dashboards.
• Define and enforce data quality, lineage, and security standards.
• Maintain and extend semantic layer, event tracking, and Lightdash setup.
• Work hands-on to fix issues, automate checks, and scale processes.
