Job summary

Booth is seeking a Data Exchange Technical Analyst for a 100% remote role across the Philippines, aligned with US EST night hours. You will monitor data flows, troubleshoot file transfers, and support API/data integrity across diverse formats.

You will use SQL, Linux CLI, and log analysis to audit data health, identify root causes, and perform data cleanups, while collaborating with developers and receiving comprehensive onboarding training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical role such as Data Operations Analyst, Systems Analyst, Production Support Analyst, or Application Support Engineer.
• Solid hands-on experience with relational database queries and data reconciliations.
• Experience navigating Linux systems and inspecting large data files.
• Familiarity with REST API payloads and JSON/XML/CSV formats.
• Strong written and verbal English communication for documenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily inbound/outbound file transfers (SFTP) and API data pipelines.
• Audit large files (CSV, JSON, XML, fixed-width) for missing or corrupted data.
• Trace data workflows to identify points of failure across integrations.
• Write advanced SQL queries to investigate production database issues (Informix/SQL Server).
• Review logs and permissions across Linux/Windows environments; troubleshoot failures.
• Collaborate with internal developers to hand off complex issues with clear repro steps.
