Job summary

Sourcefit is seeking a detail-oriented Customs Declaration and Operations Specialist to support Singapore import and export permit processing. You will manage requests from receipt to closure, review documents, prepare declarations, and monitor permits using workflow systems and automation-assisted tools.

You will coordinate with customers, follow SOPs, and ensure timely, accurate processing within SLAs, including rotating shifts and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customs clearance, permit declarations, or import/export operations.
• Familiarity with shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, airway bills, and bills of lading.
• Proficient with portals, case-management or ticketing systems, and data-entry workflows.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review customs permit requests and take ownership of cases.
• Prepare, validate, and submit import/export permits using approved workflows.
• Monitor declarations, approvals, rejections, amendments, and outstanding cases.
• Communicate with customers to request missing documents and provide status updates.
• Maintain complete case notes, processing records, and handover information for shifts.
