Job summary

1840 & Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle inquiries, orders, and escalations across voice, email, and social channels. This remote, project-based full-time contract offers shifting hours to cover EST time zones and an opportunity for long-term employment.

You will work with a dynamic team in a global company, using Windows-based tools, and you must communicate clearly, stay detail-oriented, and manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Fluent, conversational English proficiency.
• 1+ year of contact center or customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional, empathetic demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Typing speed of 20+ WPM.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Active NBI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product questions, order processes, shipping details, and website guidance.
• Provide updates on existing orders and help create customer accounts.
• Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure satisfactory resolutions.
• Manage communications via voicemail, e-fax, email, Bazaar reports, and social media escalations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Document interactions and resolutions accurately.
• Assist in managing Reseller Accounts and lead generation tasks.
• Support UPS claims by researching lost packages and initiating traces.
