1840 & Company is hiring an entry-level Customer Service Representative for a remote, project-based full-time role. You will handle inquiries across channels, process orders, and manage escalations with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

The schedule includes shifting times and possible weekend work in EST. Requirements include fluent English, 1+ year customer service experience, strong communication, 20+ WPM typing, and reliable time management.

Qualifications

• English proficiency ( Fluent ).
• 1+ year of contact center or customer service experience.
• Typing speed 20+ WPM.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product questions, order processing, shipping details, and website guidance.
• Provide updates on orders, create accounts, and help place standard orders.
• Handle escalated concerns and ensure satisfactory resolutions.
• Manage non-voice customer service via voicemail, email, social media, and e-fax.
• Document interactions and resolutions accurately.
• Assist in managing reseller accounts (set up new accounts in M3).
• Support UPS claims by researching lost packages and initiating traces.
• Identify potential customers to expand brand presence.
• Conduct internet research and outbound communications to generate leads.
