Job summary

High Rise Financial LLC is seeking a seasoned Controller to oversee all accounting operations, close processes, and financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

This remote role is based outside the United States, with responsibilities spanning treasury, audits, and cross-functional collaboration with the CFO. Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in accounting/finance, 3+ years in senior leadership, strong Excel and ERP experience, and a CPA license.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 3+ years in a Controller or Senior Accounting leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations: GL, AP, AR, payroll, treasury.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, annual closes and timely reporting.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Maintain accounting policies and documentation.
• Coordinate with CFO on variance analyses and reporting.
• Lead audits and liaise with external auditors.
