Job summary

Moneybacker is seeking a Controller to join the leadership team and oversee all accounting and financial reporting. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial information, regulatory compliance, and the development of the finance function, including talent acquisition within the team.

You will lead reconciliations, AP/AR, payroll, and cash flow management, while preparing monthly, quarterly and annual closing reports for executive leadership.

Qualifications

• QBO experience required.
• Accounting or business courses required.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment and onboarding of tax and AR specialists.
• Create training materials, guides and FAQs for onboarding.
• Develop team capabilities through weekly 1on1 sessions.
• Identify skill gaps and provide training to strengthen technical and leadership skills.
• Promote accountability and ownership while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead reconciliation processes including bank, intercompany and GL accounts.
• Oversee service fee processing and related allocations and reporting.
• Monitor AR aging to track collections and cash flow.
• Ensure accurate processing of AP, AR, and payroll.
