Skilled Wound Care is hiring a Credentialing Coordinator to assist in contracting and credentialing for physicians and health practitioners. This remote role focuses on coordinating credentialing with health plans, tracking progress, and supporting licensing processes to help the organization grow.

The candidate should bring 1+ years in credentialing, experience with healthcare insurers, strong problem solving and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a team

Qualifications

• At least 1+ years of experience in credentialing.
• Experience working with healthcare insurance companies.
• Ability to solve problems and identify solutions.

• Strong communication skills.
• Capable of managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with health plans including Medicare and Medicaid.
• Complete credentialing applications and contracts with health plans.
• Work with physicians to complete required documentation.
• Diligently track credentialing and contracting applications and communicate to leadership.
• Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure business goals are met.
• Help to improve the provider licensing function as it continues to grow.
