Job summary

BruntWork is seeking a versatile Construction Estimator and Assistant Project Manager for a remote role with Florida EST hours.

You will review plans, perform material takeoffs, prepare bid packages, and coordinate procurement and scheduling with leadership to keep projects on track. This role supports a fast-paced pipeline and requires strong communication and independent work habits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating and plan reading.
• Detail-oriented with strong cost quantification.
• Ability to extract detailed scope from plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Available to work Florida business hours.
• Bonus: experience with US-based construction companies.
• Nice to have: supporting project managers remotely.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret construction plans to identify full scope of work.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials including tile, vinyl, doors, and FF&E.
• Prepare and compile comprehensive bid packages for submission to prospective clients.
• Support procurement planning by identifying required sourced and non-sourced materials.
• Assist with project coordination, scheduling, and administrative tasks to keep jobs on track.
• Organize and manage incoming leads and prospective project plans to maintain an efficient pipeline.
• Collaborate with leadership on procurement and planning decisions.
