Job summary

BruntWork seeks a Construction Operations Lead to serve as the founder's operational partner across construction, real estate, and property management. You will bring order to complexity, manage day-to-day execution, and build scalable business systems while collaborating with a fast-moving founder.

This role emphasizes remote work with a strong focus on systems, process optimization, and financial administration.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in operations, executive support, project coordination, or similar roles.
Strong expertise with systems, organization, and process building.
Comfortable handling financial administration (bookkeeping, reconciliation, job costing).
Tech-forward mindset with the ability to learn and implement digital tools, automation, and AI workflows.

Responsibilities

Manage financial admin: invoicing, job costing, expense tracking, and coordination with bookkeeping/accounting.
Organize and maintain all project, client, and business documentation.
Support construction project coordination: estimates, proposals, subcontractor communication, and tracking.
Build and improve systems: SOPs, workflows, and operational infrastructure.
Act as liaison across clients, subcontractors, and internal operations.
Support property management and real estate activities through light operations and coordination.
Assist with budgeting, reporting, and financial organization, helping to integrate a fractional/virtual CFO.
