Job summary

Nowcircular is seeking a Collections & Recoveries Lead to own end-to-end arrears management across Australia and Singapore. This fully remote, hands-on role requires taking ownership of accounts and crafting sustainable solutions.

You will engage customers across channels, handle hardship cases, and work with external partners to maximise recoveries while minimising losses. Strong communications and regulatory awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in collections or recoveries across consumer and business portfolios.
• Strong understanding of arrears lifecycle and recovery strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with calm handling of difficult conversations.

Responsibilities

• Own the collections portfolio and manage overdue accounts with timely follow-ups.
• Negotiate payment arrangements via phone, email, SMS and WhatsApp.
• Handle complex cases including hardship, disputes and defaults, escalating when needed.
• Progress defaults and recoveries, including credit reporting and external collections.
• Manage external partners such as collection agencies and skip tracing when required.
• Improve collections by analyzing outcomes and proposing changes to strategies and processes.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance.
