Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in credit and collections, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong understanding of collection techniques, credit risk assessment, and legal guidelines.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the collections team to meet or exceed targets.
• Develop, implement, and optimize collection strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor accounts receivable portfolio and aging reports.
• Contact clients regarding overdue payments and negotiate payment plans.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and legal to resolve disputes.
• Prepare regular reports on collections status, trends, and metrics.
• Ensure compliance with debt collection laws and internal policies.
• Train and mentor team members for performance improvement.
