Job summary

PeoplePartners BPO Inc. is seeking a Civil Estimating & Tendering Specialist to remotely support an Australian civil estimating team. You will review drawings, perform quantity take-offs, and prepare scope packages to enable competitive tenders.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in quantity surveying or estimating, with Excel proficiency and experience handling RFQs and tender documentation. This role offers full remote work with international collaboration.

Qualifications

2+ years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Estimating or similar civil construction roles.
Engineering or Quantity Surveying background is required.
Experience completing quantity take-offs and BOQ checks.
Ability to interpret civil drawings and specifications for tendering.
Experience with RFQs, trade packages and evaluating quotations.
Proficient in Excel and tendering support workflows.

Responsibilities

Review civil drawings, specs, BOQs and tender docs to support Australian team.
Perform accurate quantity take-offs and quantity checks.
Identify discrepancies between drawings, specs, BOQs and quantities.
Break projects into scope packages and prepare RFQ packages.
Issue RFQs to suppliers and follow up on pricing and quotes.
Compare quotations against scope and determine best-value options.
Provide estimators with organized estimating information for tender submissions.
Support tenders across earthworks, concrete, drainage, roads and utilities.
