Job summary

Safeguard Global is expanding its APAC Sales team with a Business Development Representative (BDR) role based in Manila, Philippines. This work-from-home position drives new business across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia, with China excluded, and requires professional English communication with senior stakeholders.

You will conduct outbound prospecting and cold calls, identify target companies, and schedule appointments with the Sales Representative.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in B2B inside sales, business development, or customer support with a strong focus on outbound prospecting.
• Proven, demonstrable success cold calling and prospecting into ANZ markets.
• Experience prospecting into Singapore and/or Malaysia is highly regarded.
• Native or near-native English fluency (spoken and written), with a clear, professional communication style suited to engaging business professionals across ANZ and Southeast Asia.
• Ability to source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, and targeted email campaigns.
• Experience working with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM platform.
• Strong listening, qualification, and objection-handling skills.
• Comfortable working ANZ business hours (AEST) and overlapping with Singapore business hours (SGT) while operating remotely from a home office.

Responsibilities

• Execute inside sales outreach and outbound prospecting for APAC accounts, maximizing qualified prospects into appointments.
• Schedule meetings with the Sales Representative and assist with timely follow-up activities.
• Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities within Salesforce or the designated CRM system.
