ConnectCPA is a licensed Chartered Professional Accounting firm operating entirely online. We are seeking a senior bookkeeping leader to monitor KPIs, optimize performance, and ensure timely financial closings across client engagements.

You will collaborate with onboarding and bookkeepers to document processes and drive continuous improvement. The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and remote-work excellence in a growing, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience.
• 2+ years in supervisory or team lead roles.
• College certificate or Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.
• Strong understanding of accrual bookkeeping, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience with bookkeeping software: Xero, QBO, Dext, A2X, and Shopify.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor KPIs to ensure department performance and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with onboarding and bookkeepers to document work instructions.
• Ensure books are closed within contractual agreements and complete month-end reviews.
• Lead process improvements and coach team members remotely.
• Maintain professional client relationships to support service delivery.
