Keystone Bookkeepers is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper / Client Lead to supervise a team of bookkeepers and deliver real‑time financial insights for clients using cloud software.

The role combines hands‑on bookkeeping with client leadership, requiring US full‑cycle experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage priorities in a remote setting. This full‑time position offers remote work with a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of US full-cycle bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of leadership or team lead experience.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online, spreadsheets, and cloud-based tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a client‑first mindset.
• Experience working in a remote/virtual environment.
• Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ability to manage priorities.
• Friendly, professional demeanor when working with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Complete weekly, monthly, and other recurring tasks for assigned clients.
• Review and remit weekly payments for clients.
• Assist with new client onboarding.
• Assist junior bookkeepers with questions and training.
• Review month‑end work for junior bookkeepers.
• Help maintain and improve Karbon workflows for clients.
• Communicate directly with clients on a weekly basis.
• Other ad‑hoc duties as required.
