Job summary

ConnectOS in Metro Manila, Philippines, is seeking an experienced Australian Accounting specialist to support AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations in a high-volume environment. You will work with Xero and MS Excel to process transactions, maintain payroll records, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and ensure timely financial reporting while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Australian Accounting (accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration required).
• Australian Accounting degree or equivalent qualification.
• Practical experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Payroll processing and payroll administration experience required.
• Hands-on experience with Xero and accounting software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including financial data management and reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Strong understanding of transaction processing and general accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume financial data entry and transaction processing.
• Execute daily bank reconciliations, including transaction matching, variance identification, and resolution of reconciliation discrepancies.
• Process Accounts Payable transactions, including supplier invoice entry, coding, verification, and payment recommendations.
• Manage Accounts Receivable activities, including debtor monitoring, collection follow-ups, and outstanding balance reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll and financial records.
• Maintain and reconcile supporting financial documentation and historical records.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and customers to resolve financial queries and account discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records in Xero and related accounting systems.
• Prepare and maintain documentation to support financial reporting and audit requirements.
• Ensure all financial and administrative processes comply with established procedures and required deadlines.
