Qualifications

• 2–4 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and month-end close processes.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills for multiple accounts.

Responsibilities

• Record and categorize financial transactions in accounting software.
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Manage AP/AR entries and ensure timely processing.
• Prepare and send invoices; track payments and collections.
• Maintain organized chart of accounts and consistent categorization.
• Assist in monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Support documentation for audits, tax filings, or compliance.
• Process payroll entries and payroll-related transactions.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
• Liaise with external CPAs for period close.
