Job summary

RecruitNest Consulting is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer specializing in BMS and HVAC controls to support enterprise deployments, support cases, pre-sales activities, and escalations from a fully remote setup in the Philippines.

You will diagnose BACnet/IP issues, troubleshoot IP networking, and collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve complex problems while documenting knowledge and feeding feedback to product and engineering teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering/IT/CS or related field.
3+ years hands-on experience in BMS, HVAC controls, building automation, or building controls.
Strong BACnet/IP knowledge and practical IP networking skills.
Experience with ticketing/CRM tools (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow, HubSpot) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve issues involving BMS, HVAC controls, networking, and connected devices.
Troubleshoot BACnet integrations, including point discovery, mapping, communication, and data validation.
Diagnose networking and connectivity issues (DHCP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, ports, proxies, NTP).
Support customers with network admission and device connectivity requirements.
Investigate data-quality issues across devices, networks, BMS, and integration layers.
Manage and resolve technical support cases through an external queue.
Escalate issues requiring product-level or engineering intervention.
