Job summary

MDB Co. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage collections, post payments, and reconcile customer accounts. You will collaborate with Sales on reconciliations and assist with audits.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business and at least 2 years in AR, with strong Excel and communication skills. Experience in wholesale and Shopify is a plus; remote work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of AR experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in wholesale industry, especially with major e-tailers, is a plus.
• Shopify experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and post daily incoming payments (Check, ACH, credit card, Wire).
• Assist with credit approvals, orders releasing, and credit memo creation.
• Provide collection assistance and resolve past-due discrepancies with customers.
• Manage all chargebacks/disputes for resolution.
• Reconcile customers’ accounts and send weekly statements.
• Provide weekly/monthly AR reports for management review.
• Daily AR aging review and analysis.
• AR account management with Sales team for reconciliation.
• Assist with audits requirements.
