Magic, Inc. is seeking a remote Accounts Receivable Specialist to own the full AR cycle for a US-based client. This freelance, remote role requires meticulous invoicing, cash application, collections, and reconciliation, with collaboration across sales, operations, and accounting.

You’ll work from the Philippines, 40 hours per week, with a $9 per hour rate. The environment is Sage 100 and Excel-driven, and you’ll support leadership with AR reporting and issue resolution, ensuring accurate cash

Qualifications

• Recent, long-term hands-on full-cycle AR experience with a stable job history.
• Personally handled collections, manual cash application, credit terms, credits, disputes, and reconciliations, ideally within a one- or two-person AR team.
• Recent experience supporting a US-based company or communicating directly with US customers.
• Clear, easily understood spoken English for unscripted customer calls, plus strong written English.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting or ERP systems, with a strong grasp of debit and credit mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing, statements, and supporting documentation preparation.
• Post and apply customer payments in the ERP system (Sage 100).
• Monitor aging reports and drive collections.
• Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, and misapplied payments.
• Reconcile AR subledger and prepare related reports for management.
• Provide occasional administrative support to leadership.
