BairesDev is seeking an API Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of REST and GraphQL APIs across the development lifecycle. You will design automated test suites, perform contract and performance tests, and collaborate with developers to catch edge cases early.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in API-level testing (functional & performance).
• Proficiency with API testing tools Postman and REST Assured.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test suites for REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Develop and execute contract tests to ensure seamless integration between microservices.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to validate API behavior.
• Collaborate with developers to define API specifications and edge cases early in design.
• Integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
