Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Test Analyst to focus on exploratory testing and manual validation, bridging business requirements and technical execution to ensure software quality in complex domains.

You will design and execute test plans, perform exploratory testing, handle manual API testing and backend data validation using SQL, and manage defects across the lifecycle in an Agile environment. 100% remote with flexible hours and global opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Analysis.
• Proven ability to design comprehensive test cases, plans and procedures for complex domains.
• Proficiency in exploratory testing and manual validation to identify edge cases and usability issues.
• Hands-on experience with SQL for backend data validation and data integrity.
• Strong background in defect tracking within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans and scenarios tailored to complex business logic.
• Perform deep exploratory testing to identify defects and assess user experience.
• Conduct manual API testing and backend data validation using SQL.
• Document and manage full defect lifecycle with clear reproduction steps and collaborate with developers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to align testing with sprint goals and ensure quality.
