Job summary

OpsArmy Careers is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist with hands-on experience in Bill.com, QuickBooks Online (QBO), CPG, and e-commerce accounting. This remote role requires you to manage high-volume AP processes, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate financial records for US-based operations.

You will process invoices, coordinate vendor payments, and support month-end closing while maintaining strong internal controls and documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable operations including invoices, coding, approvals, and payments.
• Use Bill.com to process invoices, coordinate vendor payments and monitor statuses.
• Use QuickBooks Online (QBO) to record AP transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Review invoices for accuracy and proper approvals before processing.
• Reconcile vendor statements and AP balances and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, POs, and vendor data.
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders on invoices and payment status.
• Support AP activities for CPG and e-commerce businesses, including high-volume transactions.
• Assist with month-end closing, AP reconciliations, and financial reporting.
