Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced teachers to support training of a language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. This remote, flexible role targets candidates with a K-12 background and strong instructional design skills.

Ideal applicants bring ownership of curriculum planning, parental communications, or school-improvement documentation, plus expert document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship and meticulous written communication. Flexible 5-20 hours weekly is offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years teaching, instructional coaching, or school administration in a K-12 setting.
• Direct ownership of curriculum planning, parent communications, or school improvement documentation, with fluency in standards-aligned instructional design.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows: unit and lesson plans, curriculum maps and pacing guides, parent-teacher conference notes, student progress reports, classroom management plans, and school improvement materials.
• Collaborate with the AI lab to train and validate language model outputs on professional documents.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with standards in all materials produced.
