Job summary

Emapta is seeking a Team Lead Accounts to oversee end-to-end rebate management for suppliers and stores, ensuring accurate reporting and timely close processes. You will mentor a 3-person team, drive process improvements, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Advanced spreadsheet and Excel skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end supplier and store rebate management, including calculations, accruals, claims, credits, reconciliations, and payments.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end activities, including reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, reporting, and financial close processes.
• Assist with half-year and year-end audits.
• Manage 3 team members, allocate workloads, support team development, monitor performance, and ensure accounting deadlines are met.
• Maintain accurate accounting processes and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Prepare financial information and work with suppliers, stores, management, and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities to improve, streamline, and automate accounting and rebate processes.
