Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to oversee AP operations, drive process improvements, and meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly deadlines. The role demands advanced Excel expertise and leadership to guide a high-volume team across multiple brands.

The ideal candidate will manage payment runs, reconcile AP transactions, and maintain strong vendor relations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Remote, home-based role supported by a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in full cycle accounts payable with leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of AP workflows and internal controls.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to create complex analyses.
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce and Coupa.
• Proven ability to manage high‑volume invoice processing and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and support AP staff to achieve goals.
• Oversee high-volume invoice review, verification and processing.
• Approve weekly, biweekly, or monthly payment runs in line with terms.
• Serve as primary contact for vendor inquiries and issue resolution.
• Lead month-end close and ensure accurate reconciliation of AP.
• Ensure compliance with 1099 and sales tax requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements in the AP function.
