Job summary

Acquire Intelligence is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead to oversee AP processes, lead the AP team, ensure accurate payments and compliance. You will manage payment runs, cash flow reporting, and month-end close while guiding audits and maintaining documentation.

The role requires tertiary accounting qualifications and 5+ years in AP leadership; Australian accounting exposure is a plus. Remote/hybrid options are not specified.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in accounts payable or finance leadership.
• Experience in medium to large businesses; Australian exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure AP processes are compliant and efficient.
• Provide leadership and direction to the AP team.
• Analyze expense reports, vendor invoices and payables.
• Oversee payment runs and cash flow reporting.
• Reconcile AP ledgers with GL and vendor sub-ledgers.
• Maintain records for tax prep and audits.
• Monitor SLAs/KPIs and drive improvements.
• Ensure timely month-end close.
• Lead internal and external audits.
• Document AP processes and systems.
