Yempo - Your Employees Offshore is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. You will support financial reporting, bookkeeping, and project administration while helping to maintain accurate project costing and supplier payments.

The role offers a mid-shift schedule with options to work from home or in the office, and includes weekly salary, HMO, annual bonuses, and a supportive team in a growing family-run business.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance or related field.
• 1–2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in construction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity.
• Own the Accounts mailbox; respond promptly to staff, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Process accounts payable and reconcile with purchase/work orders (SimPRO).
• Maintain project costing records and allocate expenses to projects.
• Process subcontractor invoices and verify supporting docs.
• Manage supplier payment schedules and run payments.
• Receive staff reimbursement claims and process timely.
• Support month-end and year-end closing with external accountants.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical records.
• Provide financial analysis and business insights to Directors.
• Ensure ISMS compliance and follow information security policies.
• Monitor CIS returns and regulatory governance; support controls.
