Job summary

Goway Travel Ltd is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Accounts Department on a Full Time remote/hybrid basis. The role reports to the Accounts Team Lead/Operations Manager and offers Php 23,000 salary.

You will process supplier invoices, reconcile statements, maintain vendor records, and ensure timely payments while upholding financial controls. The ideal candidate has at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and 1 year of experience, plus solid Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management degree is a plus.
• 1 year of experience in related field preferred.
• Familiarity with accounting systems and tools is advantageous.
• Independent in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable Management: Work on supplier invoices and month-end responsibilities as needed.
• Pay suppliers per terms and maintain company controls.
• Respond to supplier/client inquiries via email promptly.
• Perform statement reconciliations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate recording and control of finances.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable tasks and other ad hoc duties as needed.
• Accounts Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate invoice/payment/credit-note discrepancies.
• Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve mismatches or errors.
• Document discrepancy issues and follow through to resolution.
