MAVI places experienced finance professionals into senior roles with high ownership for US-based companies. This fully remote Accounting Manager will lead the close, oversee accounting operations from the Philippines, and partner with US leadership to deliver accurate, timely financial reporting.

You will set close calendars, review outputs, and build robust controls for scalable processes, working with limited oversight and strong English communication.

Qualificações

• 7+ years in progressive accounting with close leadership or review responsibility.
• Experience guiding US GAAP close for US entities or clients.
• Hands-on in ASC 606 and ASC 842 and intercompany accounting.
• Ability to oversee multi-entity accounting and consolidation schedules.
• Strong ERP experience and familiarity with typical nearshore tooling.
• Experience supporting external audits and tax requests.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and remote coordination with US leaders.

Responsabilidades

• Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close across entities, with calendar and ownership.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy.
• Ensure consistent US GAAP application across routine and judgment-heavy transactions.
• Oversee intercompany accounting and consolidation schedules.
• Manage GL, AP, AR, payroll, cash activity, and reconciliations.
• Partner with FP&A and leaders on reporting packages and variances.
• Coach staff accountants and build playbooks for scalable controls.
