Job summary

MCI is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations in a fully remote role. You will supervise the accounting team, ensure timely financial reporting, and support audits and internal controls while maintaining accuracy across systems.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in accounting leadership, strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with Excel and ERP platforms. This remote role collaborates across FP&A, operations, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• College degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with supervisory/leadership exposure.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, GL work, journal entries, reconciliations, and record maintenance.
• SuperviseAccounting team, develop staff, ensure deadlines are met.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings; prepare and review reports and variance analyses.
• Support audits with documentation and responses; improve processes and controls.
