Job summary

TOA Global in the Philippines is seeking a Reliever: Bookkeeper to provide essential coverage for bookkeeping engagements during leaves or peak periods. This onsite, full-time role starts in October 2026 and runs for 4-5 months, with a night shift from 9pm to 6am.

You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and accurate financial recordkeeping, using QuickBooks Online. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and strong English communication are required, with opportunities

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and ledger maintenance during coverage periods.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial recordkeeping.
• Collaborate with internal teams and offshore partners to deliver reliable financial support.
• Identify process improvements to streamline workflows and data accuracy.
• Ensure timely completion of bookkeeping tasks per client timelines.

As a Reliever: Bookkeeper, you will provide critical operational support across bookkeeping engagements during periods of leave, transition, or high volume. In this role, you will apply your solid foundation in bookkeeping and accounting principles to ensure continuous service delivery, accurate financial recordkeeping, and seamless support across diverse client portfolios without disruption to day-to-day operations.

Your Impact

• Coverage & Operations: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ledger maintenance, and financial recordkeeping functions to seamlessly cover active client accounts during staff absences or coverage gaps.
• Process Execution: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bookkeeping workflows with precision, adherence to timelines, and strict compliance standards.
• Proactive Problem Solving: Identify operational bottlenecks and apply modern technology solutions to streamline bookkeeping workflows and enhance overall efficiency.
• Quality & Accuracy: Maintain high precision in bank reconciliations, transaction categorization, and data entry to safeguard financial integrity across assigned tasks.
• Stakeholder Support: Collaborate with internal teams and offshore partners to maintain clear communication and deliver dependable financial support services.

What You Bring

• The Experience: Proven hands-on experience in end-to-end bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping within a fast-paced environment.
• The Credentials: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent.
• Technical Mastery: Strong, expert-level knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO), including transaction management, bank reconciliations, reporting, and integration tools.
• The Mindset: Proactive approach to business and technology, strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and high organizational discipline.
• Communication Prowess: Excellent written and verbal English communication and interpersonal skills.
