Job summary

Metrobank is seeking a Relationship Manager (Officer) in Institutional Banking in Cebu City. The role focuses on growing the loan and deposit portfolio by end-to-end client relationship management, from business development and credit evaluation to deal structuring and portfolio management.

You will deliver tailored financial solutions across loans, treasury, trade, and transaction banking products while maintaining credit quality, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in account management, preferably banking/financial services.
• Strong credit evaluation and financial analysis skills.
• Strategic thinking and negotiation ability.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Collaborative and cross-functional team player.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through meetings, calls and check-ins.
• Monitor client accounts and address issues to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with prospective clients.
• Offer banking solutions across loans, deposits, trade and treasury products.
• Evaluate creditworthiness and prepare loan proposals with financial analysis.
• Coordinate with internal teams for approvals and timely processing.
