Job summary

Maya Philippines is seeking a Relationship Management Specialist to support merchant relationships and promote cross-sell of banking products. You will onboard merchants, help with activations, and collaborate with partners to grow the business while meeting compliance requirements.

Based in Pampanga, you will lead partnerships across North and Central Luzon, drive lending product adoption, and align efforts with cross-functional teams to deliver merchant-led campaigns.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a digital bank or banking industry.
• Strong account acquisition and management skills with cross-selling ability.
• Experience with contract reviews, compliance alignment, and process improvement is a plus.
• Ability to build and sustain productive relationships with customers, partners, and management.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; good cross-functional collaboration.
• Based in Pampanga and able to cover North and Central Luzon.

Responsibilities

• Achieve bank sales targets and drive cross-sell of digital bank products to merchants.
• Onboard merchants and complete required information and documentation.
• Assist onboarding until product activation or disbursement.
• Establish, maintain, and optimize relationships with key partners.
• Identify client pain points and provide product-based solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (commercial, operations, compliance) to deliver initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to policies and corporate standards.
• Track and report concerns raised by partners; manage strategic partner relationships and co-marketing.
• Drive merchant conversions to borrowers and meet lending disbursement goals.

Description

Core Profile:

As Relationship Management Specialist for bank products, you will support the development and maintenance of strong relationships with merchants, promote ongoing engagement, and assist in identifying opportunities to cross-sell key offerings such as business deposits, business loans, strategic partnerships, and digital banking solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

• Achievement of bank sales target
• Cross-sell digital bank products to merchants
• Submit and complete the necessary information, and documents to onboard merchants.
• Assist merchants in the onboarding process until activation of product or disbursement.
• Establish and optimize relationships with key partners.
• Recognize client pain points, and provide recommendations and solutions based on digital bank product offerings.
• Work closely with different cross-functional teams such as commercial, business development operations, bank operations, compliance, and other key departments.
• Responsible for ensuring that policies and procedures adhere to corporate standards.
• Track, monitor, and report any concerns that key partners raise.
• Leading and managing strategic partner relationships with a focus on co-marketing initiatives and the distribution of banking and lending products.
• Drives the conversion of eligible merchants into first-time borrowers through effective relationship management and business development efforts.
• Meet or exceed lending product disbursement goals (e.g., Maya Flexi loan).
• Onboard a defined number of new strategic partners per quarter aligned with bank objectives.
• Drive active engagement and utilization of digital banking products through partner channels.
• Lead cross-functional coordination to deliver partner-led product launches and campaigns.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a digital bank or banking industries
• Strong background in account acquisition and management, business development, solutions selling, and cross-selling.
• Experience with contract reviews, compliance alignment, and process improvement is an advantage
• Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners, and management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, results-oriented culture.
• Demonstrates strong collaboration skills by effectively engaging and aligning with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Based or currently residing in Pampanga, willing to handle whole North and Central Luzon region.
