Job summary

RCBC Leasing and Finance Corporation is seeking a Relationship Associate to support fund origination and treasury operations in the Treasury Division. You will assist with money market placements, process new funds, monitor KYC, and prepare trading reports to ensure smooth treasury activities.

The role requires a 4-year degree and experience in banking or finance, with strong MS Office skills and attention to compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year degree with relevant banking or financing experience.
• Experience in banking, financing, or customer service is preferred.
• Knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
• Familiar with preparing trading reports and fund placements.
• Willingness to pursue BAP Treasury Certification (company funded).

Responsibilities

• Assist with fund origination and daily preparation/monitoring of trading orders.
• Coordinate with counterparty banks, Wealth Relationship Managers, and walk-in clients on processing and status.
• Monitor and handle KYC documentation preparation.
• Prepare and submit key treasury reports (transactions, interest schedules, deficiencies).
• Collaborate with Treasury Operations and Cash Management for end-processing and payouts.

Job description

The Relationship Associate assists with the fund origination function within the Treasury Division's Account Management Section. Reporting directly to the Relationship Manager, this role is responsible for processing money market placements, accepting client funds, monitoring Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation, and preparing trading reports to ensure efficient treasury operations.

How Will You Contribute

• Money Market & Fund Processing: Assist the Relationship Manager with fund origination, daily preparation and monitoring of trading orders (fresh funds, roll-overs, cancellations), and executing money market placements.
• Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate closely with counterparty banks, Wealth Relationship Managers, Middle Wealth Office, and walk-in clients regarding investment processing and placement status.
• Compliance & Documentation: Monitor and handle the periodic preparation of Know Your Customer (KYC) documents.
• Treasury Reporting: Prepare and submit key financial reports, including Confirmation of Transactions, Schedule of Interest, Documentary Deficiencies, Fresh Funds, and cancelled trading orders.
• Inter-Departmental Operations: Collaborate with Treasury Operations for placement end-processing and Cash Management for payout disbursements.

What Will Make You Successful

• Education & Experience: A graduate of a 4-year degree course, with prior work experience in financing, the banking industry, customer service, or bank new-accounts functions.
• Technical & Software Skills: Adept at using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with simple interest formulas.
• Functional Knowledge: Strong familiarity with KYC documentation and compliance requirements. Must be willing to take the BAP Treasury Certification (first take covered by the company).
• Interpersonal Abilities: Proven marketing, customer service, and communication skills for dealing with internal units and walk-in clients.
